Written proof of vaccinations must be provided for each pet prior to admission to our daycare facility. We require:
be current (not expired) as directed by your veterinarian. Titers testing with acceptable antibody levels are accepted at our discretion. Dogs should be in good health, free from fleas, ticks and matts; and should be given a routine heartworm preventative. All dogs over 6 months old should be spayed or neutered in order to participate in our daycare program. Un-altered pets are eligible for any off-site services offered by our Pet-Sitters and will be accepted on a case-by-case basis - - and depends solely on the Pet-Sitter and the services you choose .
Because doggy daycare requires a friendly, happy atmosphere in order to be successful, it is important that we establish ground rules for behavior. Your dog should be comfortable playing and socializing with other dogs and allowing a new dog into their area without feeling territorial. For the safety of all pets and staff, we require daycare dogs allow us to handle them whenever necessary. For this reason, you may observe us making them sit, stay, etc. and they will not be allowed to jump on us when leashing them or moving them around. This does not mean we don't LOVE your pet(s)! We want them to play and have fun but it is imperative for us all that they respect us and behave when asked.
Dogs who don't thrive in our Group-play scenario are eligible for any off-site services offered by our Pet-Sitters and will be accepted on a case-by-case basis - - and depends solely on the Pet-Sitter and the services you choose .
We strive to provide a safe, happy and healthy environment for all of our furry guests. Due to the fact that puppies have immature immune systems and are more susceptible to illness, we have rules in place in order to protect them (as well as the other pets in our care). We require written proof that all puppies who enter our facility have completed all 3 rounds of their puppy booster shots, as well as Rabies and Bordetella. Puppies need to be at least 4 months of age before starting in our daycare program and may be subject to nap time, lunches, etc. Also, bear in mind, that while we can help build basic manners - and your puppy will learn from group interactions - this is not a training scenario and we cannot potty train, teach tricks or guarantee your puppy may not learn some naughty behaviors from his friends.
Though we agree (and own a few!) that pitbulls and other so-called bully breeds are great "people" dogs, they are not always great "dog" dogs. Also, we know that ALL DOGS - small and large - can be dangerous if not properly supervised and socialized. Our experience shows that dogs act very differently in our facility than they do at home, in a dog park or when they are out with you.
Each dog is unique, therefore, we require temperament testing before allowing ANY dog into our facility and we reserve the right to turn away any dog unsuitable for our open play-style environment, regardless of size or breed. Likewise, we will accept ANY dog into our facility as long as they play by our rules.
Appointments are not required Monday - Friday for daycare once you have passed your initial evaluation day. However, there are times when we need to allow for space and staffing requirements, so we ask that you make an appointment with our facility for the following:

Because we are an enrichment-based daycare, we spend all day with the dogs making sure they are happy, safe and well-adjusted. For this reason, we ask that you schedule tours and evaluation days in advance so that we may have an additional staff member present to work with you and your pet(s). We don't want you to feel rushed if you have questions, nor do we want to leave our group players unattended.
