Written proof of vaccinations must be provided for each pet prior to a job being accepted by one of our Pet-Sitters. We require:
Each pet is evaluated based on services required by you; therefore, Pet-Sitters may be able to take pets that are unaltered, younger puppies, seniors, those with medical conditions, etc. Please contact us to determine if we can accommodate any special requests.
For the safety of all involved, we will not allow a Pet-Sitter to take a job without a Meet & Greet, without all paperwork being signed, or without written proof of vaccinations on file.
Because there is a fair amount of preparation involved, you should ideally meet a Pet-Sitter and establish a relationship with them before you actually need them. Also, bear in mind, your Pet-Sitter has other clients so you should reach out as soon as possible if/when needed.
We always want you to have coverage when you need it, so if your Pet-Sitter is unavailable for a date you need him/her, please reach out to our Management Team and we will work together to find a suitable backup for you.
Because Pet-Sitters are typically caring for your pets while you are away, it is imperative your pet(s) feels comfortable with the person entering their home, leashing them up, feeding them, etc.
For this reason, a Meet & Greet is ALWAYS required prior to any job and if you, the Pet-Sitter, or your pet feel the least bit uncomfortable, it is essential that more than one Meet & Greet occur. This can be done in a variety of settings but some examples to consider are:
All pets are different and sometimes only a low-level of preparation is needed, whereas other times it may take several meetings for your pet(s) to relax. Please bear in mind,while your Pet-Sitter will do an initial Meet & Greet for free, they may charge for subsequent visits.
Our Pet-Sitters are trained professionals and most have returning clientele, recurring pet-sitting jobs, daytime jobs, as well as their own pets and families. All this makes it difficult for them to juggle if/when a customer changes plans without letting them know in a timely manner. For these reasons, payment is due IN FULL prior to the beginning of any pet-sitting job. Cancellations are refunded/credited as follows:
Major Travel Holidays such as Spring Break, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years
